I also uploaded Kanye West's College Dropout, which I am listening to as I write this week. It's a pretty brilliant album, better than anything he's made since (808s and Heartbreak is technically stunning, but not quite hip-hop anymore in some ways, and also very, very emo, which I am done with on most days--though I'm writing Machines-of-Freedom-verse songfic for it). Anyway, it's the album that made me like Kanye, and made me absolutely convinced I liked hip-hop.

You know, if we're exchanging music...I've gone on a total Lady Gaga kick, though I've only ever heard her on YouTube, and could really use some to power my way through this week of insanity, through The Tuesday Event (a post is coming, I promise!). I'm just sayin', if you've got any to share...
